What this site collects, in plain English
We're pitching a product whose whole premise is respecting your data. That starts with this page being short, honest and free of legalese.
What we collect, and only when you choose to
- If you click "Yes — build this": the click itself, the page you were on, and the page that referred you. No account, no name, no email.
- If you send us a note: the message you wrote, and your email address only if you chose to add it.
- If you sign up to be notified: your email address.
If you just read the site and click nothing, we collect nothing — there are no analytics, no ad trackers, and no cookies set by us anywhere on this site.
One thing stored in your browser
When you click the support button, we set a small flag in your browser's local storage so the button remembers you already clicked. It never leaves your device, and clearing your browser data removes it.
Where it goes
Form submissions are stored by Netlify, the service that hosts this site. As part of processing a submission, Netlify records standard technical details such as your IP address and browser type. Netlify acts as our data processor; their own privacy policy is at netlify.com/privacy.
What we use it for
- Counting interest, to decide whether and what to build.
- Reading your suggestions.
- Emailing you once when the product ships, if you signed up for that. No newsletter, no drip campaign, and we don't share or sell addresses. Ever.
Deleting your data
Send us a note through the message box on the homepage saying you'd like your submission or email removed, and include the address you signed up with. We'll delete it and confirm.
When the product launches
The extension we're pitching would handle far more sensitive data than this site does, and it will carry its own full privacy policy — published before anyone can install it. The position we've committed to publicly: process locally where technically possible, extract only order-related information, and never sell or broker your data. This page will be replaced by that policy at launch.
